Friendly and helpful - rooms are a bit dank and dusty (but this is Dustmandu)
Take a UV light to check for bedbugs. That and semen stains on the sheets.
Truly awful.
Not the most luxurious hotels. But very cheap and the staff are extremely friendly
Very cosy place the middle of Thamel. Nice staff who are alwys ready to help/guide you.
Great position. Big rooms. Hot water is not always available. Receptionists are very helpful.
If you are looking for a good price/value ratio, this is a great spot tucked away from the main street. If you are looking for nicer accommodations, you probably should spend a few more bucks. VERY friendly staff and the Secret Garden Cafe out front is fantastic.
NEAT AND CLEAN HOTEL, SMILING, SOFT SPEAKING AND VERY COOPERATIVE STAFFS AT A EASY ACCESSIBLE PLACE IN KATHMANDU
Nice location and very clean hotel.
Best hotel in Thamel.
This is the best hotel in Thamel. Great location, Friendly staff and good price will make your stay memorable.
I am an American, and despite the fact that I had a Nepali friend to stay with in Kathmandu, I decided to stay at this hotel for a couple nights during my trip so I could experience the tourist attractions and nightlife of Thamel on my own. And boy was it worth it! The hotel is just a few minute's walk from tons of great stores, bars, and pubs, as well as the beautiful Narayanhiti Palace Museum and the Garden of Dreams, both of which you should absolutely visit. I came back from clubbing very late a couple times, no problem (just make sure to save the hotel number in your phone in case the front doors are closed!). The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating for all of my needs, and they cooked me breakfast! The room wasn't super fancy, but it was great for the price, and relatively clean. I got one of the deluxe rooms, which has a ceiling fan, a bathroom with a sink and western toilet and cold/hot shower, a television, multiple electric ports for US/Europe/UK plugs, a queen-sized bed, a bedside table, a desk, an armchair, and multiple windows looking over the street. There was a small roach problem (can't blame them, it was the middle of monsoon season!), but they were very quick to fix it by gassing the room with RAID while I was gone. Overall it's a wonderful little hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Thamel for any period of time.
Friendly staff clean and nice room and
Wash room
Decent. Wifi didn't work the second time i stayed here. Great breakfast. Decent dorm. Slightly dated.
Friendly staff, large clean bedroom
Cheap and nice
Cheap dorm with a great breakfast. Handy location off the main street, but still a bit noise Friday night with kareoke. Clean and friendly.
Great Location and friendly people. I will stay here again and reasonable price..
One of the friendliest and helpful staff you would ever have in Nepal. It's just a testament to Nepal's hospitality. Harry is always smiles and ready help with anything!
