The folks that own and run the hotel are very nice and are very helpful with information and booking bus tickets etc. The rooms are nice with hot water 24-7 even though it's solar. Western toilets🤘 and the best french toast in pokhara. Their milk tea is pretty bomb too, especially while enjoyed on one of the many balconies with a view.
Very good Hotel for staying in Pokhara, Nepal. It is located in Fewa lake side. Room have no TV and A .C, but WiFi is available, hot water available. Hotel is provide only breakfast no lunch or dinner. Hotel owner is very friendly and helping also. They can arranged vehicles also for site seeing.
Best place near phewa lake.. owner is very co-oprative
I have not stayed in the hotel but did the homely cooking class. The english was great, Nani was awesome took it really slow and explaining all the small details and in very reasonable price.. 1000 rupee per person!
And most important, the food was delicious!
Fantastic! Photo taken from my balcony at Hotel Diplomat. Wonderful family ran hoteltake the cooking course!
liked the place and people :)
Low budget comfortable hotel in lake side.Very near to the fewa lake.Great hospitality and courteous owner.Mountain view from room.
Good value. Welcoming owner and wife. Very friendly and helpful. Anxious that we should enjoy our stay. Clean pleasant room with hot water! Quiet location just off main Lakeside road.
We paid more on second visit as they said it everywhere else is full. Paid for tourist bus to Palpa but the bus was 100% local bus.
Such a nice hotel stayed there for 3 days nice rooms and friendly owner help us a lot thanks man.
Room is nice and price is decent (1200 Rs for a single room with a queen size bed)
However, the owner booked us an AC bus ticket to Kathmandu, and when we arrived at the bus station, the bus turned out to be non-AC. We had paid already for the AC bus and the hotel manager ignored our calls.
Wonderful place, homely environment
An affordable place. The service is okay. But the wash rooms were bad. Won't go there again.
Run by lovely family. Great value for price, though they provide no air conditioned room. The lady who runs the place is very helpful, you can arrange almost anything through her
Perfect location, reasonable price, lightful room, clean toilet, nice balcony, friendly staff, hot water etc. Best hotel in Pokhara.
Good room
3 of us stayed here four nights. Great hospitality, run by a friendly family. Rooms were clean and comfortable, good location near the lake. They helped us plan a trek, and even chased me down at the tourism office to bring a nalgene water bottle I'd forgotten.
Last week I stayed 3 nights in the diplomat hotel . The place was very noisy. The first evening there was a group of indians partying the whole night. The second night, there were again indians partying. The third night was awful too, french people moved in. It seemed they felt like at home and were shouting at each other the whole night. Every morning at five o'clock in the morning a neighbour startet his diesel engine. Unfortunately, the engine did not have an exhaust system. Therefore the noise continued without a break.
Because o the noise I intervened but without luck. It seems, the owner is not interested in having a quiet and relaxing place.
The room facilties are very good. The hotel owner are so so nice and helpful as well. If I come back Pokhara, I will definitely stay here.
