Clean and cozy atmosphere..
Only complimentary breakfast is missing.
Calm and clean place near the Maya Devi temple.
Good location. Clean room. Friendly and helpful staff.
I really don't understand how this hotel has a rating over 4 🌟. Spent two nights here and finally came to the determination that it's not a good hotel.
First, it was very dusty, and dirty, even past the level that I'd consider acceptable for an out of the way places in the countrysidesuch as this. But they are charging over $30 a night, so not having pebbles in the bath tub should be expected.
The air conditioning unit natural state was in a semi closed position that would require me to manually open it up to get cooler air into the room. The generator is used for a lot of the time, and it runs only for 30 minutes at a time. This would cause the a/c to shut down, so I'd get up, to manually open it up wider 2 times an hour.
No bottle of water the second day, no new soap the second day, no shampoo at all, the tub was filthy and would not drain very well at all, the generator issues, not good TV.
The positives: great location and great staff.
In conclusion, I know this is rural Nepal, but if you're going to charge over $30 a night, especially in one of the world's poorest countries, a certain standard of value should be there, and in this case it wasn't.
Very close to the Maya Devi Temple
+ Clean, reasonable prices, helpful stuff, fast wifi, hot water, air conditioning, food choices limited but good taste
- they have a big moskito problem in this hotel, be prepared to wake up at night and have difficulties to fall asleep again
The hotel was good. But the only thing was that they didn't provide proper toiletries.
Really close to the main gate of MAYADEVI temple. Peaceful place with nice environment and friendly staffs.
