This was an excellent experience and I was very happy with this company with only a few minor issues. I booked through a third party and there were a few inconsistencies in the tour inclusions/tour information, but when raised with Prime Himalayas it was addressed promptly e.g. single supplements, included equipment, end dates etc. It was frustrating initially as it took several emails to get clarity on the details of the tour/booking options, but the company were very patient working through it including my date changes and I'm glad I persisted as once that was sorted when I arrived it was all very clear and seamless. I actually saw another review which said the same thing, which was why I kept at it.

From arrival, there was a man patiently waiting the two hours it took for me to get out of the airport and the hotel at Norbulinka was great. The guide reminded us of everything we needed, gave a thorough orientation and gave us tips. Some people mistakenly booked multiple other things based on their own mistakes with start/end dates, and despite it being their own fault the company were helpful and understanding in assisting.

On tour we had a great bunch of staff including a very patient and helpful guide Ganga who clearly loved his job and took great pride in his work, even going out of his way to help other trekkers s well as guides who were irresponsible and/or poorly prepared. I was the only one who was silly enough not to get porters (I love how Ganga emphasised they were part of the team and more SUPporters) but they were so lovely, positive and friendly, and they constantly offered to help me when I was struggling.

Ganga was constantly teaching his team to improve and take care of us, anticipating everything and even remembering our meal preferences, dislikes and took great genuine interest in us. Nothing was ever a problem, we were all very mixed abilities and the team were so helpful and understanding of everyone's varied needs. Even when some of us took way too long as we struggled through some parts! He even used an app to map our trip and send us the map afterward which was a lovely touch.

We had a wonderful small group and I'm pleased to say I've kept in contact with everyone. It was also great that as I learned more about the company and chatted to the team that the owner as well as our guide took culture, social responsibility and responsible tourism very seriously even though they never pushed it down our throats or made it obvious. I didn't realise how much Nepal needs tourists to hire guides and porters/support in order for Nepali to be able to work and support their communities until a fellow traveller (who had been to Nepal) told me. Ganga was also very knowledgeable about birds due to his volunteer work and was amazing at spotting local wildlife once he realised how much we loved animals. They were happy to exchange information at my request, about culture, language, social issues, food and all those wonderful things that make travelling so interesting.

Even afterward we had lovely hotels, we were given tips for shopping and there was no pressure about tipping (which actually made me anxious as I was worried the team would leave before we had a chance to tip them, but that's my issue not theirs). I understand them not wanting us to feel pressured but it would be good to know when they were going so we could make sure we had enough cash to thank the support team before they went back to their villages. After the tour, the service was still beyond expectations with allowing changes to airport drop offs etc and even the lovely contract drivers we had. I was receiving odd texts after the tour which got annoying asking if I was still in Kathmandu but I guess I did fly in and out a few times during my Nepal trip.

I'd highly recommend this thorough, helpful and professional company with great contractors/business partners. They really put back into their communities and care about you as a person, so push through the admin, be clear about your questions, book porters and go - you'll have a blast.

We had a great adventure! We did the Annapurna Base Camp 9 day trek. We got food poisoning and we didn't make it to the base camp, but the owner, the two guides and porters rearranged our trek so that we could stay over a few days and then meet up with the rest of the group later. Thanks to Thakur, Prashant, and Ganga, we were able to at least finish. The trek overall was beautiful, but was real hurried. If I had to do it over, I would take my time enjoying the scenery while trekking and then stopping at a tea house when I wanted to stop. There are a couple of things that I would like to point out: 1) Make sure you have enough rupies to pay huge tips to the guides and porters; they are awesome and work so hard. 2) We also would have liked to been included in the initial meeting in Kathmandu. There were just a few who came in from flights at a later time and we didn't get the full initiation and we didn't receive a map of the trek which would have been nice. 3) We were told that we would be sharing rooms as a couple; when you get there you are told that the last three nights of the trek you have to share with 6-8 people. 4) Do not buy the food package. It was a huge rip off. One of our travel companions kept track of what they ordered and they spent $237, and they ordered drinks and desserts. With the food package, a person is only allowed to order one thing and have to pay for anything else they ate. We were also sick so didn't even order food for several meals. Just make sure you have enough Rupies to cover $250 and you will be fine without the food package.

We can really recommend to do a trip with this organisation. From 14th-29th of Octobre 2017 we have been on our trip with Google Treks Nepal to Mount Everest Base Camp. We were a group of 8 people. Everything was organised very good even the whole group got suddenly sick during the trek and had to do an extra day off because of gastro-intestinal disease. Prakkash and his team did everything to alter the bookings of the lodges and the flight back from Lukla to Kathmandu. The guide and the porters did a very good job and were always looking after us so we felt sheperd all the time. We are really thankful for this experience and we wish Google Trek Nepal all the best for the future. Maybe we see again one day 😊 C+R

We (2 adults and 2 kids) spent 7 days in Nepal for vacation. We meet Mr. Deepak Rimal at the airport. He was very straight forward and helpful in providing ways to get the most of our time in Nepal. Although, we didn't do the Mount Everest trekking due to having young kids. We enjoyed our time in Kathmandu, Nagarkot, and Pokara. Mr. Deepak arranged for our transportation and hotel booking. He was very professional, honest and on time. I would definitely recommend his service and company to anyone visiting Nepal.
