Explore the flora of Godavari Botanical Garden at the foot of Phulchowki Mountain. See a range of plants, ferns, trees, and flowers, and learn how growing them is possible in such an extreme environment as you stroll the gardens and greenhouses.
Located at the base of Phulchowki Mountain, Godavari Botanical Garden offers visitors a respite from the energetic walks of the Kathmandu Valley and the chance to stroll leisurely around the mainly open parkland habitat; home to several fast-flowing streams. The verdant botanical gardens are a quiet and peaceful spot for a walk or picnic, except on Friday and Saturday when the place is overrun with school kids. The visitor centre has exhibits on Nepal’s flora and in the middle is the decorative Coronation Pond with its 7m commemorative pillar.response / report this review -

Easily buses are not available form here, mostly during at the evening. The bus from here takes you to Jwalekhel Buspark through Saddobato.
