  Santaneshwor Mahadev is a famous Shiva Temple in Lalitpur believed to bless the childless couples with baby. A form of Shiva, widely worshipped by the people everyday but even more especially during the month of Shrawan "July/August" and Magh "Jan/Feb".
  The temple situated on a hill-top offers a very rare 360 degree view around the of Kathmandu valley. The village sight from the temple premises is breath-taking.
