One of the first mountain bike shops around. Carries many high end brands, but also has a variety of second hand versions of these bikes. Great place to get you bikes serviced.

Even if you don't need to buy anything, Epic Mountain Bike Shop is a great place to hangout and talk about Mountain Biking. If you need advise on anything and I mean anything about cycling or Mountain Biking in general this is the place to be. From bike sizing to Enduro riding, their staff will give you 'free' and honest answers.

After many hiking trips in Nepal I finally decided to ride a mountain bike in Mustang. The roads and paths are tough so I looked for an all mountain or enduro bike for rent in Kathmandu that I could take with me for 2 weeks to these mountains. I visited all the shops and saw most of the bikes for rent and finally got to the Epic Mountain Bike shop where I was able to rent what I consider a fantastic bike for this kind of trip. They rented me a Commencal AM in great condition. New tyres and every single item I could possibly need for my solo trip in this area of the beautiful Annapurnas were provided with the bike. Assitance by phone for questions or problems was also offered to me. Even though I needed no help at all (I did not have even a flat tyre) it was very reassuring to know they were always willing to help in any way. Price, service, quality of the equipment on hire and knowledge of the staff were all first class.
I am planning another trip next year when I will be bringing my enduro crazy friends to ride these paths and for sure will use the services of this, once again, excellent bike shop.

This is my second trip to Nepal to ride mountain bikes and I can say, without a doubt, that my experiences would have been a whole lot different had I never went into Epic. Rupesh and his crew run an outstanding shop and welcome any and every rider with open arms. It is a refreshing feel compared to the more touristy shops in the tourist areas. I'd recommend this shop to anyone
