The most professionally run place in Nepal. The lots of people upset that they were rejected for visas in the reviews. My experience as a us citizen is quite the opposite. Get a born abroad birth certificate, new passport and adding pages to my passport. Not to mention all of the good work that the embassy is doing for the people if Nepal.
I am glad that it looks fancy and all beautiful stuffs, also it's security systemsbut ..why, why in this earth they are rejecting visa (f1 visa) even we are fully eligible for accepting? No USA is not the land of freedoms it's land of rejection and ruining the life of thousands of Nepalese students. American government should be ashamed of itI am sorry if I say wrong things.
i want to write many things but i cant because ma nepali hami nepali 😜😜😜😜😜😜😜🇳🇵
I just wanna burn the embassy I am so on it.. if and only if I could I would REALLY do it.. the reasons for rejection they give are so annoying cause they do whatever the want.. who the hell made them the visa officers?
One mentally prepares himself for the interview for the fifth time and you guys change your reasons again and again.. without validity, what the hell? We are humans too..
go to hell
Actually i don’t even want to rate them because they don’t even have any particular reasons to reject the visa
we’re students,we do a lot of research then we give exams then we apply to college and universities in united states then we spend a lot and lot of money at final we visit this ambessy and they reject the visa just by asking only one questionthis is so unfair, they should understand our hard work

I am a US citizen and I married a Nepali (who is now a US citizen). The US embassy has rejected my sister-in-law's tourist visa over 3 times now. She missed our wedding, her other sister's graduation, and now will miss the birth of our first child. Each rejection was due to a concern of immigration intent. My sister-in-law is married, has children, has a job, and has her mother and brother in Nepalher life is in Nepal. And now, the US embassy rejects my mother-in-law's tourist visa application because she will be receiving permanent resident status in a couple of months. Of course, this means my mother-in-law will also miss the birth of our first child. Shame on you!!!
Horrible horrible experience ever. Lady just hung up my phone, don't want to answer my question, never tried to listen on me, bad customer service ever had in my whole life customer service sucks!!!!
The Embassy is a huge and beautiful building which has its own public library. It also provides job opportunities to public. The library is my favourite place. One can borrow books and use computers with Internet access.
The complex is built very strong and secure but it seems that they had to compromise on location. It is located very close to major traffic junction posing great risk to their security. The security of embassy is important, but they should at least make separate arrangements for diplomatic works and customer service because no one wants to be treated like a criminal.
The width of main road is also relatively narrow outside embassy compound.
Clean, the restroom reminds me of DD or American restaurant ones, water dispenser makes you feel like you're in States and I love it. If you get a visa you can start seeing some differences in the systems, interiors, and start to joyfully learn. I love the beautiful greenery that I saw inside almost about a year ago.
And if you're applying for a visa, please leave all of you unnecessary stuff in your car or with someone- for e.g. Cell phones, water, extra stuff that we carry.
I am a us citizen. My wife and kids had interview there but I was not able to join them because of military deployment. I tried to reach us embassy kathmandu Nepal to ask if my wife and kids they reached safely for interview. I was so worried they were not picking up my phone since half an hour. Their interview was so close that mine panic level went high so I caled embassy but the female in customer support was so rude that she hang up phone on me, I called again and asked her why you have attitude but she replied me why should she care. My whole day went so bad because of her. I tried to ask her name but she hang up again.
