Very poorly managed transport office. A simple vehicle tax renew or licence renew will take atleast 3 hrs+ going from one section to another. Place is heavily crowded. No social distancing. Space available for bike parking.

I visited this morning at 10:30 and I finished all my process of driving licence renewal within 30 minutes. DO NOT PAY MORE TO ANY OUTSIDE AGENT. (THEY WERE ASKING ME NPR 1000 FOR THE SAME PROCESS). Do it yourself. It won't take you much time.

Social Distance is not maintained and monitored. i saw people being careless - not wearing masks and gloves.
And as always, government official system doesn't seem to be managed to help public be safe. Security personnel who are supposed to be helping people to be safe are not carrying their duty properly.
I went there to renew my license after a long time, and I felt the place to be unsafe.

seriously needs management, slow lines and half of us dont know which one goes where, no formal signs to guide, no instructions on which documents are needed, so people always carry your citizenship and its copy. and please setup a reception desk Sir, you are a government service, a higher standard should be provided.

First things first!! Really unmanaged ..
You have to take 3 days leave just be in queue for hours and wait your turn to submit form, to give written exam and for trial (practical exam)!!
Whats the meaning of submitting online form if you have to be queue with other people !!

Nowdays the department had improved to some extent by opening other offices at different location.Online license form service had already been effective but people are still forced to stand in line in any offices.

This is the government office of licence distribution and vehicle registration. It is very poorly managed. The official come and go as per their will. Long lines can be observed from as early as 8 in the morning.
