We stayed there for a week when visiting Nepal and the nearby hospital and school set up by a relative. The food here was good and cooked in the traditional way in a wood filed fire. We had lentils and backed corn and also more standard Nepalese food. The area is very interesting and has wonderful views of the high mountains to the north. The altitude is high and evenings clear in the early spring when we visited the first time. The second time of visit was after the earth quake and the stone building we had stayed in was heavily damaged but other buildings survived the quake well. I would recommend the place as it is in a piece full and beautiful location and has very nice accommodations and the staff accommodating. Having visited the location in the spring and late summer both are fine but if you wish to admire the mountains come in February or March when there is fewer clouds and rain.
