I've stayed here on several trips and it never disappoints. Clean rooms, incredibly friendly staff, and wonderful mood. All rooms have a porch and access to the rooftop. Its a perfect location in Pokhara, close enough to the lake to be there in just moments, but a nice quiet setting for sleeping and relaxing. Govinda is an inspirational personal and his Butterfly Foundation is an incredible asset to the community. I highly recommend staying at Butterfly Lodge. And for a delicious meal visit the wonderful folks at P. P. Local just a few minutes walk down the lake. (And the Juicery is another great stop.)

Very nice and clean hotel in Pokhara. Great location - in few minutes walk from the lake and from the main street. As it's located a bit away from the main road, it's much more quiet. Breakfast was good and personnel were very friendly.

    Excellent service, view and facilities.
Govinda is very committed to the local children's future with the foundation, which is what you contribute to when stating here. I can highly recommend the place!

Stayed here for three weeks. Just off the main street so it's quiet at night. Clean rooms, always hot water, good complimentary breakfast at the restaurant next door. Friendly family owned/operated.

Highly recommend staying here while in Pokhara!! The owner of the hotel Govinda is reason enough to stay here. He is truly amazing and genuine and treats his guests like family. The hotel is very comfortable, clean, and conveniently located by all the tourists attractions. Had the hottest shower with the best water pressure of all the places I stayed in Nepal. Was truly sad when my stay here was over.

Great hotel! Very nice managment and workers. Big room with great water pressure in the shower. Nice garden to sit at and read a book. Reasnable prices. Good location near the center of lakeside (which also means sometimes loud music at the evening..) And on top of all that, some of the profits are donated to the butterfly foundation, so it's for a good cause.

Very nice place to stay with a very friendly nepali owner and staff! The rooms are clean, nice and calm and the location is great at the lakeside. If you're going to stay there don't forget to visit the butterfly foundation and to sponsor a child ;). We know this place since 23 years and can warmly recommend it!

Butterfly Lodge is a very enjoyable place to stay when you are at Lake Side in Pokhara Nepal. The staff are very friendly, they speak English and always greet visitors with a smile. The hotel is located at the heart of Lake Side, you are never too for from anything. The rooms are very nice and affordable. One of the things I enjoy about this hotel is the courtyard. The courtyard is very open and most time quite; It is a good place to read a book and catch up on your tan during the summer. It is also great place for kids to spend their time while staying at the hotel. The only downside of this place is the WiFi; most days the WiFi work properly but other times it gets very slow or its not working. There are also two restaurants that is located on the property that I would suggest to visitors to try at least once. The past few times I went to both restaurants I enjoyed my meal.

I stayed in this hotel last year. It is very clean and the rooms are comfortable and affordable. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast in the attached restaurant was good especially the pancakes. You can see lovely views of the city and mountain range and you are very clean to see the lake. It is in a great location for shopping and getting to other activities and restaurants. If I go to Pokhara again I would love to stay there again.

I have been here for two times.the best part is the spacious rooms, hot shower and a big garden with warm and welcoming staffs. I felt naturally welcomed here when I came here for second time. There's lots of restaurants just outside so you dont need to eat here. I could do yoga here which was very Important for me while travelling. Love this place and I will definitely be back here again.

So, the hotel is well located just off the main Pokhara lakeside road. But then, so are most hotels in Pokhara. The rooms are more spacious than most other hotels for the same price
You get hot water almost any time of day, and the WiFi is always on, though it can be a bit spotty.
They have a travel desk which organised treks as well, but this is mostly active in the trekking season.
Didn't eat here, so I can't comment on that.

Wonderful and comfortable rooms for living with clean rooms and wifi facility. I really loved it. I don't think that I wasted a lot of money for living in this lodge. There is a spa and resturant in front of it which are also amazing.😘😘

As someone who regularly visits Pokhara, I feel confident saying that Butterfly Lodge is my favorite place to stay. The staff and ownership are incredibly friendly and accomodating, the rooms are consistently clean and well taken care of, there's always hot water, and it's at a very convenient location near Hollan Chowk bus stop. I recommend anyone staying short or long term in Pokhara to consider staying here!

I've been staying at The Buttrrfly Lodge for years now. For the price you won't find a better hotel in Pokhara. Clean rooms, hot showers, courteous staff, and comfortable beds, what more could you ask for.
