4hrs walk from bethan choke,Panauti. It is one of the tallest hill in mahabharat range. You can see excellent view around from here towards panauti, lalitpur and dhulikhel. There are couple of homestays towards the narayanthan temple.

Lovely place to be if only there is proper accommodation provided, it would be a great place to go which is quite near from the valley. Great place to hang out and to enjoy the nature😊✌

An awesome experience of a hike nearby Panauti. We motorbiked more than half of the way and then hiked for about two and half hours. The journey to the top is amazing and once you reach up its mesmerizing. Unfortunately the weather was not clear during our visit, however, it was an awesome view and the feel to be high above the clouds.
We had our sleeping bags and mats to spend the night. Had to go down hill (about 15 minutes) to collect the woods and started the fire. The place to spend the night (paati) was clean. Thanks to those who visited there just before us. We tried to maintain it clean when we left.
Take sufficient drinking water for your trip. We were a bit out of water at the end of trip.

Great Experience to hike to this point from Dhunkharka Homestay. You can enjoy great view of Mountains in the north and Giant plain of Terai from the same point. Very wonderful place to take pictures.

Place from where you can see high himalayas and low south land (janakpur and makwanpur) . Best for sunrise and sunset.
Best to cilmb this hill when there is no clouds in the sky.

The place is really good for a single day hike or a night stay. Geographically it is in the Mahabharat range so the sight of 3 ranges in North to Bagmati basin in South can be seen from a single point. The place has some risky falls if one isn't careful. Place that you will wish to go on again and again. The forest on the way is amazing and through the hike you will see changing vegetation according to alltitude. Yes it snows.
