This place is awesome . The BAR cave is amazing. Entry of the cave is huge but exit is a small hole 😂. So you have to come outside by snake 🐍 walk though it was a bit adventorous. It was fun hanging out here when you come with friends. It’s too scary. Without light you can’t visit this BAT Caves they will give you torch . Even very cheap, check the price in images.
Must visit place in Pokhara.
Bats were all around the roof and it was like the Batman caves in the movie.
Fearful, exciting and you need courage to complete the cave round.
You need to be fit to go into the cave.
Nominal ticket and you get a torch when you are 2 or more guys.
Had a great time there :)
I had never been to any cave before. Chameri Gufa (Bat Cave) was the first one and it was intriguing. Plz don't forget to do Rock Climbing which is the best part :)
5 stars!!!!
You can get out of the other end no matter how fat or small you are. All you need is courage and maybe some help. Also, they would try to charge you around 300 for a guide. You won't need it. There's just one way. Nothing much inside the cave except for some small bats hanging above. The most exciting part is climbing out from the tiny hole on the top.
P.s. Don't carry around any extra stuffs like bags or camera. Travel light.
It is a small cave but is quite adventurous. You go down deep under the land and climb up the sloppy hill (all under the earth) to get out through a very small opening. Getting out from the cave is most exciting and thrilling as you have to climb a steep rock and literally crawl through the small aperture opening. And you are doing this under the earth where it is dead dark and you only have lamp to see things.
Its an exciting cavethere are bats all over the ceiling of the cavethere is a very narrow opening at the end of the cave, if one passes through it he/ she is considered to be a good soul. Only those who have not committed sins in their lives are considered to pass through the narrow opening.
Don't miss to climb up the narrow exit. It's risky but very satisfying if you manage to come out. Rarely someone succeeds to crawl and bend and come out of that rabbit hole sized exit and those who manage to.. are considered blessed!
This place is amazing! One if my highlights in Nepal! And for a very good price of 150 ruppees for foreigners. There are thousands and thousands of bats just hanging metres away at the top of the cave. It was like being in an episode of Planet Earth! Once you have had your fill of watching the fascinating creatures dangling upside down it's time for the exit, not just any exit though! You have to scale through the cave and squeeze through the small crack! It's quite fun and to see everyone so happy once they had made their ascent to freedom.
This is the place where you can experience the real fun of visiting a cave. There is less light once you get in. You need to look at your steps. And yes, you can see the Bats hanging upside down..!!! The most exciting part is the exit. Not all people attempt to get out of the real exit place cause it needs a bit of guts. Most people exit from the entrance. If you can get out of the EXIT, you will have it in memories. The exit place is a bit small and is through the rocks. A bit oversize person should not attempt it cause it can be problem for them to get through.
Nice place to visit. Many bat are live there so it is called bat cave. Entrance of cave is big but while exit is so small and it creates very excitment while passing through small exit hole.
Nice cave in Pokhara.
Best place for adventure lovers..
Nice Place but I could not see any bats, I think it was not right time to visit
If you like climbing, this place is highly recommended!! First time I climbed, in a dark cave with bats dangling on the ceiling!!! And for your own safety, please please please hire a guide. The cave has 3 stories (floors), and hard to get out from there. Guide is necessarily needed.
Yes, the exit is somewhat challenging if you're not prepared for it - and you must also be of relatively small stature to fit through the true "exit". It's a bit of a climb and a shimmy through a small space to get out, you will very likely get mud or dirt in your clothes. Best not to try this when it is raining unless you want to be completely soaked by the end of this experience.
Very fascinating place Especially the way you enter through a hole to get out of the cave at the end
Most people don't get that the speciality of this cave is not only the bat inside the cave. Yes of course bat is one of the reason. However, the interesting part of this cave is the small exit point. Unlike the big entrance it has, the exit is relatively small and it is quite hard to exit from there which is one of the perks of this cave.
Getting inside it and coming out from the cave was a really great experience. Don't forget to put this cave on your bucket list for Nepal travel
Unfortunately I did not found it that interesting. Just a cave with some bats.. If you like bats much, I can figure it is a good place for you to visit.. It was just not my cup of tea.
If u like adventure ,yo should visit this place. U have to enter from one point and come out from the other point. The way is too narrow. I couldn't made it so I came out through the entrance. It was too dark over there.
amazing so many bats in cave
Cool cave, lots of bats very close to you and a really narrow exit point :D
Well I would recommend that you go with someone in case you have never travelled inside a cave before. You could see a lot of bats hanging by the ceiling and there is a strong strench inside
Just pass through entry and exit. You will have lot of fun with view of millions bats.
One of a kind of adventure caving. Don't forget to go through the narrow hole, you will keep your memory forever.
