A very nice hostel in a cheap price. The staff a really nice and helpful. It a little bit outside of the lake side area but it's cool if you want a chill and quite place. Nice fooftop and nice garden with hammock and chairs to chill

Quite a bad experience in Pokhara. The room is quite big, but the blanket was really old & dirty. Looks like they didn't change the blanket for weeks. The pillow cover had 2 big holes. During my stay, I couldn't charge my phones & batteries to prepare for 5 day trek because there was always a power cut in my room (though I told the owner about that). When I was at the local bus station at Pokhara from Kathmandu, the owner of the hotel told me that he would pay the taxi fee (250 rupee) if I stayed at his hotel. Then when I stayed there, he told me that he didn't say that. After 2 day staying at his hotel, I paid for the accomodation fee (3,000 rupee in total) he didn't intend to pay back small change (500 rupee), then I had to tell him to do so. Would never stay again.

I booked a dorm via hostelworld but they put me (female) in a double room with a random guy. The guy was okay (lucky me) and still it was quite uncomfortable. They also have a little kid there which is quite loud. Also if you get the room in the first floor, you will be living just across the hall to where the owners live. I could not rest well at night because of that and also because the window is to the garden where people sit and talk. Opt for other places. There are better ones for the same price or even cheaper.

Best place for backpackers. Very cheap and affordable. Can have better air-conditioning in rooms, but for the price it's more than enough

Before and after our trekking we stayed in "Hotel Cherry Garden" in Pokhara. And this was perfect!
The hotel is located in Lakeside, just 5 minutes away from main street/phewa lake. The atmosphere with a relaxing garden is great (a little bit "backpacker stye) and the rooms are clean and spacious.
The service of owner "mp" is very kind: Trekking recommendations, booking of a taxi, very helpful in all questions.
    Can fully recommend this hotel!

Beautiful lodge with a large garden and perfect views of Machapuchare! Quiet and peaceful place to stay in the lakeside of Pokhara but close enough to all the bars and restaurants to feel like you're right in the action. I came back here twice and they're very accommodating. Highly recommended!
