The nature here is so soothing. Even if you don't see a tiger or rhino, it's worth a visit. The village side is stunning too. Cost around 1100 rupees for an entrance and 2000 for a guide (the guide is required, you can't go solo).

The outing on this day was not as wonderful as it usually is as this was two days after Hurricane Irma. Most areas were okay and not damaged while many others were impassable. Credit goes to the park for the quick response to clear all the debris.

Great place to enjoy your holidays. Located 80 km away from Nepalgunj, people can take a taxi or cab to reach easily.
This Bardiya National Park is resident for more than 60 tigers and more one horned rhinoceros has been shifted from Chitwan National Park to make it more diverse. You can have jungle safari on elephants as well as Jeep Safaris People can enjoy home stay at local houses of Tharu community with local dish and cuisines.
You can see varieties of wildlife and birds in this national park. It takes almost a day to surf around this park. People need to be aware of wild animals.
Also known as Thakur Dwara for common people, you can worship deity of Lord Shiva nearby Bardiya National Park.
People can visit elephant breeding centre and Crocodile breeding centre as well. It is great place for bird watching as well. Deers, Langur Monkeys are common to see on your way to National Park.
Bardiya National Park has been a recreational place to celebrate picnic during winter seasons. You can enjoy boat ride in between picnic hours. People can enjoy swimming in the canals during summer seasons to keep away 40 degree celsius heat.
Well acquainted rooms with variety of foods are available nearby the national park area. Fish and crabs are the best cuisine to taste.
This place has been visited by English Prince Harry, actor Leonardo DiCaprio and Singer Selena Gomez. So, you may want to visit this place once in your lifetime for sure. Cheers!!

Bardiya National Park being one of the largest and most undisturbed national park in nepal is best for the jungle walk, and tiger sighting in Nepal. Since its largely controlled by the army to control the poaching of all the wildlife. Bardiya is widely known for the sighting of the tiger in whole southeast asia. The famous activities includes the jungle walk and jungle safari. It is also known for one horn rhino as well.

We return regularly to BNP, if you want to see tigers, then the excellent guides there will do their best to find them for you. Choose your lodge carefully as some are a lot more comfortable than others and prices do not necessarily reflect this. This place is a haven for wildlife, Fly to Nepalgunj from Kathmandu saving a very long road journey
