A great place to be while in Kathmandu. It is a renovated palace. Houses many stores having clothing, artifacts and other stuff. Also classy restaurants where one can sit and enjoy reading, TV or chatting with group or just a good meal or a drink leisurely. There is outdoor seating too with arrangement to keep you warm in the winter and keep you dry in the rainy season.

Lovely surroundings; a nice break from the dirt and chaos of Kathmandu's streets.

It's a bit out of the way and the food is nothing special. There's a small gallery attached to it, and a boutique hotel.

Great ambience and the menu has wide variety. Being a niche restaurant, the price is high but the location and the interior it has, the restaurant is bound to be over priced.

Being expensive as it is, the food and the atmosphere is However value for money.

The place is one of the great places in Kathmandu. Quality of food may be debatable but the ambience is super. Few restaurants options to choose from to dine in side the premises can cheer almost everyone.

I really love places like this in Nepal. I like the colonial architecture. It is a comfy place, which is popular amongst rich Nepali and diplomats. It has some good dining establishment and shopping nepali souvenirs or clothes. Not recommended for budget travellers.

Cozy place popular among diplomats mostly. Nice looking old style corridors. Good place for dining or shopping nepali traditional souvenirs or clothes but not cheap at all. 3 restaurants available there to chose.

The entire facility is gorgeous, historic. There is not a lot with in walking distance outside of the palace. However in the palace there are restaurants and shops. They even have a roof swimming pool.
