Dinner and breakfast were good.

First impression was good, the exterior is lovely and of course the location is picturesque like all of Norway. There's not much near by but as the apartments are self-catering you can prepare your own food. Upon entering our apartment we were bowled over, not out of delight but by the huge lump in the floorboards right inside the doorway which made it difficult to get in and out of the bathroom. The shower was a good size but ran out of hot water after about ten minutes which only allowed for one of us to have half a shower. We'd really been looking forward to a good shower after a whole day kayaking on the chilly fjords, but the boiler didn't heat up again properly for another few hours. It also let out a lot of water on to the floor so we had to use one of our towels as a bath mat. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils for cooking.
Check in and check out were both smooth.
