Nydelig sted med fantastisk utsikt til sjøen.
Veldig hyggelig personale. Vi var vist de eneste gjestene den natten vi var der så vi kunne velge når frokosten skulle være og vi fikk hver vår deilige omelett, i tillegg til bufféen. Rommene var fine og vi hadde både dusj og badekar. Vanligvis må man leie kajakk her, men vi var så heldige at vi fikk låne den gratis.
Hadde dette vært en ren opplevelses anmeldelse så hadde det blitt full pott, men noen så punkter på vedlikehold av huset og da spesielt bassenghuset som mangler en rute i døren til toalettet, gjør at Villa Charlotte ender med fire stjerner.

I'm sure this is a lovely place to stay, but unfortunately we weren't able to stay. Despite our confirmation email through Travelocity that explicitly said "no need to confirm," the owner did not check her Travelocity bookings and had booked the whole house to a family instead. When we showed up to the house and awkwardly walked into a family clearly relaxing and enjoying the evening in what they believed was the comfort of their own home, the owner had nothing else to say besides "this is impossible." We showed her our confirmation email and confirmation number, but she had nothing to say besides "this is impossible, this is impossible, this is impossible." Ok, it was clearly not impossible because we were standing there in the foyer waiting for our room. She did contact a nearby hotel and get us a room, but she did not offer to pay for the long, expensive cab ride from Bergen there, the cab ride to the new hotel, or reimburse us at all for our trouble. She did not even apologize.
