Hotel does have character, being an office of a metal melting company in the old days (built in 1907 if I'm correct).
Great food and lunch. Rooms outdated but well cleaned. Views are both nice (fjord) as well as terrible (looking out over a metal melting company).
With windows open you have the continuous noise of the industry.
Summary: good place to stop for dinner! As a hotel it's outdated and it's location and state does not keep up with it's pricing.
Stayed here with the gf. Amazing views and friendly staff. Bonus if you like great paintings.
Apparently the hotel used to be the private residence of the directors of the nearby dam/museum.
Super comfy hotel with nice rooms and view. The location is great with short distances to hiking trails.
Everyone was beyond helpful and we needed all the help we could get. The owner and the front desk helpers were able to answer all of our questions and gave us very helpful information. They were so welcoming in our time of need.
Friendly owner, homely setting. Great place to stop and rest for your hike to Trolltunga. Decent spread of breakfast. Would be good if there's an elevator especially after a strenuous hike😂
Aardig personeel
In de kamer staan oude meubels. Weinig ruimte.
