  Beautiful location. Great hotel rooms with comfortable bed. Nice hot showers. Breakfast was amazing. Had everything you'd want in a hot breakfast. Eggs, sausages, cold meats and cheeses, fresh bread, croissants, it was perfect.

  Although only in for lunch we were greeted as though we were full time guests by very friendly staff. Our coffee and open sandwich were served quickly, the sandwich was excellent. We had a very long, friendly and informative conversation with the manageress. The view from the restaurant is really beautiful and would be spectacular on a sunny day, highly recommended

  Artig Hotel med meget spesiel arkitektur. Flott beliggenhet nede ved fjorden. Hyggelig betjening, men snakket dessverre kun engelsk. Minus for elendig Wi-Fi.
  Dette er min tredje gang på dette hotellet. Kommer sikkert tilbake.

  The key selling point behind this hotel is its breathtaking views of the fjord. Do get the rooms that look out onto the water and you will be rewarded with kncredible sunrise, sunset and all days views accompanying varied colours and tones.
  
  Activities are limited but they do have a fun driving range that lets you club golf balls into the fjord. 20balls go for 100NOK which is not cheap, but clubs (in poor condition) are provided.
  
  Facilities are clean organised but relatively basic. Rooms boast of a TV, and beds are clean and comfy. Spacious parking allows you to almost drive right up to your room.
  
  Service however was excellent with friendly, attentive, english speaking staff.
  
  On Sundays the restaurant scales down with limited dining options, and the nearby supermarkets are all closed. So do stock up/come prepared.
  
  One challenge is coming from the ferry, the drive through the tunnel can be quite a task as it is narrow and very dark. So do come only if you are a confident driver.
