A legend of a mountaineering hotel! Placed in the most alpine part of Norway, Turtagrø is the spot for trekking, hiking and mountain climbing. I have stayed here four times and counting!
The staff are wonderfully professional, yet local and home-like just enough to make you feel at home.
The food is worth a trip alone! Every evening there is a set dinner or a la carte, and they know how to feed the hungry crowd after a whole day of exhausting walks in these most beautiful mountains.
This is a dormitory or a four to six bunk beds hotel, or a full blown luxury hotel with all the bells and whistles.
If you ever pass this place, don't!
