Greta range of books, mags and dvds. Opens early, closes late but it's a noisy place. More social than studious.
And I always thought people were supposed to be quiet in a library
Even though it closes at 7pm locals can still be inside the library as long as they have a contract. It's a beautiful library with a grand variety in books ranging from Norwegian to Arabic, from children books to books about learning ASL (the Norwegian, so NSL?)
One of the best examples I know of a city library thought to be accessible and inviting and enjoyable all the time.
Huge windows, areas to relax and other to work with a very good wifi network and electricity for your laptop or mobile.
The only complain is that as the library is extremely popular and welcoming it often gets noisy, particularly in the weekend.
If you are a student looking for a peaceful place to study this is in other words not your place :(
Good example of a modern library. Now with extended access in the closed hours it is the perfect place to finish that writing project you are having trouble concentrating on. Also, the graphic novel section is really good.
