Troll-car to Briksdal glacier

  The Cars transport customers close the glacier then they have a short walk from the drop off point.

  Held on a mixed feeling. Which I Don't like on holiday! We took the tour up with trollcar. However, we were dropped off at the half of the ride. Then you'll pass some kind of hut, which is the "end point". However, to really get to the glacier and more you will still have to walk a lot. That path is still kind of steep. No problem for us, but we sat in the trollcar with an older couple. Infirm, artificial hip, walking stick. The elderly do not make it to that piece still to walk.
  The ride on the trollcar is fun, but walking I would not have minded, if given a second chance.
  The trollcar is handy. Fast. You come near a huge waterfall. Very nice! We were a little wet. The path, if walked all the way, is steep.
  However, at the exit point, you get to hear the return ride over a quarter hour (15 mins). You also get a receipt when booking, with time on it. So do not miss.
  The trollcars drive behind eachother until the hop-off point. All tourists walk fast as herd animals through, since there is only 15 minutes. At least those who are not infirm. The walk takes anyway (with fast scrolling!) Five minutes at least. At the glacier you will have 5 minutes to shoot pictures and you have to go back again.
  However, we had fortunately a one way ticket. Because of this we did not have to rush, we walked back to take the environment into us. Was very happy with that choice!!
  Still, I found it a very commercial intent. There was big money requested for transport upwards. Around 10 euros (converted) per person. And there was not told that you will have a lot to walk still. Otherwise I do not know whether I had made the choice to go with the trollcar. Especially I felt sorry for the elderly people.
  They were full of good hope driving "above", but could not really see the glacier in full and up close. Yet of all distance behind trees, rocks, hills.
  
  For that, I don't really fancy this ride. No info about the hop-off in the middle was given. Nothing to report, pocket money of tourists, and drop them for only 15 mins on the half of the ride.I think that's not fair!!!
