Sometimes in Scandinavia you need an escape. This is the place! If you've never been to Norway, ordering double shot drinks is not allowed, and all drinks go by the "perfect pour", or in other words the least amount of alcohol possible. This is supposed to combat alcoholism
Anyway, this place is great. Drinks here are the same as everywhere else (perfect pour), and the food is wonderful. I recommend most Dubliner's, but especially this one.

As close to a decent pub in Oslo as you get. Good selection of beers, decent bar food and a nice koselig atmosphere! Great for a cold winter evening.
Also an excellent whiskey bar attached, and a section with shuffleboard.

A waste of a friday night! My glazed ribs tasted old. The security were unnecessarily aggresive. After being there for 3 hours, i was on my way to the bathroom to the other section without knowing i needed a stamp, so the huge security guy chose to grab, and pull me on the floor, and when i told him he could have been a bit more gentle he ask me to leave, and the bartenders did not do anything about it although they agreed it was stupid. Really if you like your weekends, dont waste it in a place like this.

If you love whiskey, and good food, you gotta visit The Dubliner. In the weekends they tend to have live music there, so be prepared. Great place, which even has a good selection of beers.

Good atmosphere at this large city centre Irish pub. The food is well above average, and they have a good selection of draft beer.

If Irish pubs are your thing, Dubliners has been the place to go in Oslo form more than 20 years. Live music on the weekends allows them to ask a cover charge for entry later in the evening. They serve a nice selection of foods, the kitchen is also shared by the neighboring Whiskey Bar.

The perfect pub. Food is great, beer is great. The service is great. The music is great. There is nothing to dislike other than the attitude of some of the clients.
