  Top score! I stayed just one night, but I regret not having visited the place before. Even I, a native Norwegian from this area, am impressed with the scenery. The dinner was absolutely marvelous, each one of the three courses exquisite in taste. The room I stayed in was nice, though not opulent in luxury - that would probably be a lot more expensive, I'm sure. The only thing that could possibly scratch a bit off one of the stars in my review would be the price. Then again, you get what you pay for, and anything less pricey could well be detrimental to the qualities that raise this place above quite a few other hotels.

  This place is just amazing. Don't forget to ask at reception the key (and swimingvests) for the wooden rudder boat. The spa area is very nice too.

  Just a one night stay but a great experience. The spa is superb with the outdoor heated pool a particular highlight. My standard room was spacious and comfortable. Restaurant is good with a hugely various breakfast buffet catering to all tastes. Highly recommended!

  Just a fabulous weekend in a dreamland. Everything was perfect, from the service, always discreet yet impeccable, to the breathtaking views, not to mention the amazing SPA area.
  Even though on the pricey side this is definitely worth every little penny.
