Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y mal dotadas. El hotel está muy aislado. Las instalaciones estan en mal estado (la calefaccion de nuestra habitación no funcionaba y tuvieron que cambiar el radiador). El personal fue muy amable pero el ambiente era totalmente 'soviético'.

dette stedet er bare helt fantastisk , beste overnattingsted i eller utenfor Kirkenes , mer er det ikke å si , må oppleves.

One of the best dinner experience ever!

On our trip to Kirkenes we stayed at Sollia Gjestegård and the last evening we order a table at Gapahuken restaurant which is beautifully situated next to the lake at Sollia Gjestegård, with a panoramic view to Russia (see attached photos). The restaurant serves gourmet local food, i.e. red king crab, salmon, halibut and reindeer. The owner and chef Eivind Nordhus recommend this menu; Starter: Lightly smoked whale meat/King crab chinois. Main: Reindeer fillet with red wine sauce: Dessert: Is parfait with cloudberries

If possible, it taste better than it looks!! (see attached photos).

The relaxed and friendly atmosphere that Mr. Nordhus and his wife create this evening was outstanding!

Gapahuken is an absolute gem. This is one of my best dinner experience ever! Highly recommended!

Il luogo è fantastico, nelle poche ore di luce si possono vedere i minuscoli bungalow ricoperti da uno spesso strato di neve. Il posto comprende anche un allevamento di cani da slitta, con possibilità di escursioni. Il posto ideale per riposarsi, ma abbastanza scollegato dalla città (per andare a Kirkenes con il taxi bisogna accendere un mutuo), ma è l'ideale per trascorrere qualche giorno proveniendo dalla dogana di Borisoglebsk.
