Quite demanding hike up to the the Skageflå farm from the boat drop-off, but beautiful view on the fjord and the Seven Sisters waterfall. Even if you don't want to hike back to Geiranger and rather take the boat, it's definitely worth going up a little further towards Homlog to have this awesome view on the farm and the falls.
Utallige turister tar turen til Geiranger for å oppleve fjord og fjell. Nå kan det bli enda mer å tilby turistene
One of the most incredible places on earth. We hiked the 250m up from the fjord where the boat drops you off. It takes about 45 min. Our 7 year old did it easily. If you are fit and not terrified of being on a cliff it's great fun. The views are phenomenal and it's a terrific place for a picnic lunch. You can also hike the trail from Geiranger to get here but that's much longer (about 4km one way) and will be a cumulative elevation gain of about 800m.
Hard but very doable hike . must see when in Geiranger.
The hiking-route from geiranger via homlong to skagefla takes about 3-4 hours. At some points it's a little bit difficult and dangerous to walk, but the beautiful view at skagefla above the geiranger fjord is absolutely worth it!
