  The powerplant is situated on the most eastern offshoot of hardanger fjord and at the entrace of simadalen. It´s built right inside the mountain and it´s utilized as a pumped storage hydropowerplant, powered by high altitude lakes from all around the area. Right in front of the substation there is a small way going around the peak of the fjord. It´s predestined for fishing. Go there before sunrise, the view on the fjord is breathtaking!

  Niesamowite miejsce żeby zobaczyć jak działa od środka jedna z największych elektrowni wodnych w Norwegii. Zwiedzanie poprzedzone jest filmem, a następnie wyjeżdżamy 700 metrow w głąb góry aby zobaczyć elektrownię.

  Imponerande anläggning inne i berget.
  6 - 800 meters fallhöjd på vattnet till de fyra turbinerna.
  man ser dock bara toppen på turbinhuset .
  Bäst överblick gav filmen innan man åkte in i berget.
