You get an amazing view on the surrounding mountains, and the camping grounds are very nice. I also loved the fact that the area is right next to the water.

The price is not too bad (we paid 300 kr for one tent and five persons) but you only really get the basics for that price: You have to pay for showers(5kr), wifi (50kr) and warm dishwashing water (5kr). It is a little irritating, but the amazing location makes up for it.

It's also near enough to the town center so that you can go food shopping, but it's also far enough not to be too noicy.

The best thing about this is definately the close proximity to the Vøringsfossen waterfall. It's a 20 minutes drive.

Overall, i would definately visit this place again if I ever have the chance.

Beautiful view on Eidfjord and 500 m from city center. On the other side services are poor and bit spartanic. Small kitchen and just couple of showers. The Wi-Fi is free with ok strenght.

Nice place, but no good facilities. Only one shower and you have to pay 5 krones for 3 minutes of warm water - also for washing your dishes or your Hands. Wifi Costs 50 krones per day and isn't working very well.

Der Campingplatz ist sehr schön am Ende des Eidfjords gelegen. Die Sanitärenanlagen sind leider nichts so gut. Eine Dusche, 2 Toiletten und Waschbecken befinden sich im selben Raum. Hier herrscht Renovierungs bedarf.

Great location, friendly staff but bad facilities. Only one shower per gender and bad to no light. You also have to pay for hot water, which is fine in the shower but too much if you have to pay 5 NOK to get 30 seconds of hot water in the kitchen. There is also no hot water available except for the shower and kitchen. In the evening also some pretty run down people smelling of alcohol did hang around the facilities.
