The airport pick-up and drop-off is a pain with you having to call them multiple times, meeting in the parking garage and them being 45 min late. Then our car broke down (fair enough, after all you rent a wreck) but their emergency hotline is not working and I had to try a hand full of phone numbers for hours to get through to somebody. Finally I was overcharged in the end and only after a lengthy discussion got some of the additional charges back.

We hired two cars from the Varangerboten branch last autumn. One had a collapsed suspension and bald tyres and the other had brake disks so worn that the disk was being ground down. After returning home we got a bill for 10,000NOK for damage to the underfloor of the car with collapsed suspension. Avoid at all costs.
