I was here for work. Impressive hospital with great facilities and experience doctors.
While on holiday in Norway, my wife came down with what we thought at the time was a sinus infection. We had stopped at a urgent care facility who at that time prescribed her with some medications. On the second night, in the early morning, she passed out, fell and broke her wrist. This was in Tonsberg. By that afternoon, on the Friday the 12th she was met in her room by a doctor who started immediately with tests. At that time, by 7pm, it was determined that she had acute myeloid leukemia and would start her first round of four chemotherapy treatments.
After seven days of treatment, she had responded well with the required
treatment. She was ready for a transatlantic flight.
On the 31st of May we returned to California for further treatments.
My wife has a battle on her hands in weeks to come!! As I look back
at this horror story that unfolded, I thank God that it happened here!!
Being in a foreign country, receiving the care that was in my opinion,
above ALL expectations.
Her whole team contributed to her care, and well being.
I can't thank them enough.

My wife has been in "nevrokirurgisk" 3days now and we are very happy for the service and educated people there. She gets all the care inn the world.
This is a top hospital in Norway. Mostly good and of course some not so good work. This is how it is. The hospital has great doctors and a good teaching environment. The other staff try to do their best. The nurses are polite and attentive, but unfortunately many are hired from temp-agencies, so they are allowed to work long hours.
Experience while working here was exceptional, dedicated Doctors and Nurses, caring with full empathy, deserves 100 star rating
good place
I've worked with some exceptional doctors at this hospital. Overall care provided at this hospital deserves a 5 star rating!
