Legendary for the LEGO events they have. But besides the Legos there are a lot of other real science stuff. On display: automobiles, planes, radio technology. I mean old stuff. It is suitable for all ages. Kids will have a blast here. It is quite big as well. Entrance is NOT free. You can get there by subway or by bus.

This was a fantastic museum for both Adults and kids . It is well worth a visit. If you are visiting at the weekend check the train times first .

Cool and interesting place! We really enjoyed our time here (Plan a full day because it's lots of stuff to see and do). Reason for less stars is because it's starting to get dated. Some of the exhibit say that in the future x there will be this and that, and already we are in this future in 2017. Some of the stuff also was broken. Really needs some love and new ideas.

Remember to get the Oslo Card the Museum is not huge compared to some bit big enough to fill at least half a day. A solid range of exhibits some you might not see elsewhere. Not everything is translated so be warned. The computer exhibition is particularly noteworthy as well as the telephone section. A particularly rare section on paper making is also to be found. There are some super fun bits for the children to get involved with and to finish a great cafe albeit the usual Oslo prices. There are trams and busses and it is within zone 1 so covered on the Oslo pass.

This is a fantastic museum! This attracts not only adults but also kids! It is not just a series of exhibitions! It actually encourages me to experience science and technology and get interested in it! It naturally leads people to spend their time a lot! :)

Enough to see for more than one day. I particularly enjoyed the full size jet plane. Make sure you go there one day when the guides will allow you to enter the plane.

Grossraum exhibition was very good. In the Vitensenteret the brainwave table seemed to be broken, and a couple of the other activities was malfunctioning

Fun for children and adults. I don't recommend the cafeteria dinners. They have a fairly large selection of science themed toys and books. It's an excellent place to pick up a birthday present on a Sunday. You don't have to buy a ticket to access the store.

Great place, especially if you go there with children and can explore tha nature wonders through the curiosity of the young mind.
