Excellent, beautiful hotel with fantastic views on the harbor. There's also a great restaurant and a great lounge. Probably the best place to stay in Molde.

I very rarely give low ratings and poor reviews but this hotel has disappointed me immensely.
We were given a small room (accessible) and it's on a low floor facing a busy road. One of the windows were so low that you would have to stoop to see outside.
The windows aren't properly blocked at night so it's also bright. We barely slept due to the noise and light.
In fairness the room was clean and the breakfast was adequate. But we decided to forgo our prepaid room to move to Scandic Seilet next door instead of going through another bad night here.
Update: Upon checkout, the hotel waived payment for the second night. Kudos to them for acknowledging our feedback.response / report this review -

Rooms are average. Nothing Specials and even worse when rooms facing roadside.

Very nice but expensive hotel. The breakfast is good. Wonderful fjiord views. The bathroom in our room was poorly laid out so that the shower doors couldn't open properly. No laundry.

The Fjordstuer is a very nice hotel with pleasant staff, good hotel room and splendid breakfast with lots of choice. Location is very good right.by the fjord and easy walk into town. Jotel and rooms very clean.

I find nothing bad to say to this place. It's perfectly located by the Molde fjord. Breakfast array is fantastic. They also have nice dinners with international chef. Nothing to complain really. Looking forward to my stay here next month😚
