This is quite possibly one of the best meals I've ever eaten, and the food was only enhanced by the relaxed atmosphere and incredibly friendly waitstaff. If you're lucky enough, the restaurant's namesake will be your server, and if you're smart, you'll get the daily 3 course.

I was treated to a great salmon tartare appetizer, followed by the best duck breast I've ever had. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection. There was such an amazing contrast between the beet puree and the beets/potatoes that I was forced to clean the plate. To wrap things up, they sent out a lovely and rich nougat brulee. It was a perfect end to a perfect meal.

If you're in the Kongsberg area, and you don't have dinner here, you're making a terrible mistake!

Kongsbergs desidert beste restaurant for tiden. Veldig hyggelig, serviceinnstilt personale og fryktelig god mat. Eneste minus er at de ikke har åpent hver dag. :-)
