One of the 7 mountains. There are several ways up and the longest one where you start down at the docks in Laksevåg offers a nice historical routes with old ww2 sites like Artillery mounts and bunkers (permanently sealed off of course) The trek from the docks is an average difficult one. To me personally i would call it a nice day trek to spend the day. The steepest part is the very last 10min. where you need to use all four limbs to get to the very top. But once up, you have a fantastic view over parts of Bergen. Be sure to have plenty water because once you leave the water reservoir half way up (where you go down the double stairways), there is no water source that i know of. locals who knows the area might know of some but there is no water to be seen after the reservoir. Road is asphalt about 2/5 of the route. then you hit rockier parts for the rest of the trail. It might be muddy swamp areas if you decide to trek after a rainy day. So have good waterproof shoes. On dry days, anything goes.
Fantastisk utsikt over Loddefjord m.m
