This was an amazing hike better than Preikestolen (Pulpit rock), i found Pulpit Rock much more easier than this. The weather is uneven it changes anytime here. it was 1-2 degree when we hiked. you have to hike like 3-4 mountains going up and down and then flat. but after so much struggle the natures view would definitely satisfy you. You would feel that you had achieve something. The way back is much more difficult during rain time as it is too slippery on rock and most of the hike is on rock.
Wont recommend this hike during rain.

Start of the hike is a steep uphill but otherwise not so bad. Worth the experience and the views. One of the most magnificent things I've ever seen.

An bucket list worthy. Fear mixed with excitement at 1100ft drop with no safety guard. But it's nothing compared to the hike up on a rainy day.

It's a once in a lifetime experience. Must go and see for yourself how you hold up standing on that little rock!

Mind you, the climb to get there is indeed tougher than what they say. But it's all worth it!

Not for the faint of heart though!

Nice place to go! Take account of good footwear the hike is steep and heavy. In bad weather the trip is not worth it, you need a clear sky for a nice view over the fjord. Be careful if you like to step on the Bolton. It's small and the abyss is deep.

Stunning hike up to see the boulder. While getting to the actual boulder requires getting through a small Stream and trying to not get wet, its well worth it! The boulder is 983m free Fall to below. Getting on the boulder there's a small Hook to assist with getting on to the rock. Just don't look down while getting on!

While one of the most breathtaking hikes I have ever done, this was also the most gruelling hike I have ever done. This hike is a steep sinusoidal meaning that you will hike up a very steep gradient, then back down, then back up even higher to an even stepper gradient, etc for 3-4 humps. The rock itself is 3000 feet in the air and the only way to get to it is by shimming around on a 2 foot ledge between a boulder and the drop. Would not recommend anyone to go on the rock itself or attempt the hike unless you're in shape.

An amazing place with an even more amazing (and scary) view! 1100meters above the fjord below it makes this jammed rock a spectacular sight and the feeling you get when standing on it way above the fjord below it makes you question your foothold every second. However when you make it safely back off the rock you have gained a whole lot of confidence and most importantly, some pictures to document it all!
