We got visitors and we drove from Stavanger to this restaurant. And it was closed!!! Apparently they can close the place as they like. After a long drive we were ready for some nice food, we had a baby with us as well that needed a break from all the driving as well so so disappointing:(

After a long and strenuous hike, coming to this cafe was the cherry on top! The food here was the best we've had in our week in Norway! Full of flavor and absolutely delicious! The service here was wonderful and so were the recommendations on what to eat! A definite 5 star!

The food is amazing and the service super nice!
They invited us in even though they where about to close and said we can even still order food!
I can highly recommend this place! :)

My wife and I had a wonderful experince here Food was fantastic, customer service was even better. Staff spoke great English and are eager to please. Even if your not going for a hike on top of Kjerag, it's a great place to enjoy some Fika with a amazing view! Highly recommend to all.

Yes, this place is aimed at tourists, and yes, it's not cheap but what place like this is (think: Yosemite, Yellowstone, if you're from the U.S.). It's a smallish establishment serving everything you'd need post or pre hike with refreshments (drink both alcoholic and non, food both hot and cold) as well as some souvenirs because Well, why not. Also, I should note that it's not just foreigners when I say tourists because not all Norwegians have been to every trail and national park, right? That said, the staff might not always be overly chipper but they will certainly be patient and helpful. Highly recommend if you're a lazy packer or want to treat yourself post hike.

Beautiful scenery from the windows. Cozy place. But the price is relatively expensive.

Excellent view point for after your hike to enjoy some food and a beer. Prices are slightly higher than the city which is to be expected given the area, but the food was quite good to my surprise. A beer here will Set you back 85NOK but itls well worth it after a hike and to enjoy the view.

Nice view point overseeing the fjord. View is stunning and worth the trip. For more adventurous and if you have more time there is Kjerag mountain point near by that offers even more beautiful mountain scenery. Restaurant didn't offer much but then again if was off season so I guess it was expected. Lots of ppl travelling on motorcycles (like me and my friend) so it seams a popular place due to beautiful and old one lane roads and near by twisties. Recommended for bike riders.
