A bit of a quirky hotel within the original building and an adjoining building that was once a courthouse in the early 1800's. The floors are a bit unlevel, the stairway to our rooms was very steep and winding and one had to duck their head to get through the doorway to room with the continental breakfast where the food was great. Dinner in their dining room the previous evening was also very good and rooms were comfortable, even though maneuvering up the stairway with luggage was a bit of a challenge.
A nice historic B&B full of antiques. The staff was very accommodating.
Definitely the best place I stayed in Norway. Easily accessible by bus from both Voss and Ulvik (we did not have a car) so I highly recommend it to people going on the Hardanger fjord tour. Kind staff, a fabulous old fashioned building, and if you go on a walk, you will find a scenery that will make your jaws drop. The rooms were exceptionally clean, which you can never imagine for a 17th century building. Highly recommend the food as well as it tasted like an authentic Norweigian food made by Norweigian neighbours.
Very clean and comportable accomodation. Kind owner. I want to stay more to read a book and enjoy to nap.
Fantastic place to eat lunch! Very kind people. We had calf beef and apple juice. It was so nice. Strongly recommend this place.
Great traditional lunch. Had reindeer stew with locally made apple juice
Veldig koselig stoppested
Eli is a very charming lady and an excellent host, we had a nice diner and her beautiful old dining room in a real Norwegian atmosphere.
Jaunsen Gjestgjevarstad is a beautiful, wooden inn with part of the building dating back to the late 17th century. The staff is very friendly and it almost feels like being a guest in somebody's home. They go to great lengths to make you happy. The rooms are also nice and clean.
Sehr einfach gehaltene Unterkunft mit weniger guten Frühstück und ungeniessbaren Kaffee. Bietet kostenlosen W-Lan Empfang. Lebensmittelgeschäft direkt gegenüber.
