I can be short on the positive things: the free pool and the hot showers (no coins needed).
Our camping pitch was 40 m², which is way too small for a tent, a car and a place to sit outside. The camping pitches are located on the edge of the camping, right next to the main road. It sounds like cars are driving through our tent.
If all energy spent on organising things (I've never seen chalk lines between camping pitches) were spent on cleaning the cooking area and the toilets they may have earned a third star.
This is just not what I expected from a campsite in Norway.

Great plate to stay in Kinsarvik. Walking distance to Mikkelparken. Nice Staff and good acommondation. Loved it 5/5.

Stopped by for a cup of coffee while we were waiting for our ride, and were met by the nicest staff. He gave us free coffee with a smile.

We stayed at Hardangertun for 6 days during July 2015 and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The weather was quite rainy and cold, but the heated outdoors swimmingpool was still an excellent place for the kids to have fun while the parents relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful nature scenery around Kinsarvik.

It's also an excellent base for hiking up along the four spectacular waterfalls in the Husedalen valley.

We have already booked another stay at Hardangertun for the summer of 2016.
