  We had lunch at the restaurant and it was excellent! The service was great, the food was superb and the price was even somewhat reasonable considering that everything has to be brought from the mainland. Oh, and the scenery is about as picturesque as you could ever hope for.

  Went for a quick drink. Very nice atmosphere and great view from the island on a sunny day. Prices were not too bad either.

  Bokade en natt på Håholmen redan i april så sett fram emot besöket i 3 månader.
  Står på bryggan och väntar på att båten ska komma och hämta oss. Då får vi höra att ön är stängd för en privatfest. Så där står vi med en bokningsbekräftelse kl 17.00 på eftermiddagen och får höra att vi inte kommer få sova där natten som vi bokat. Så vi ringer receptionen och frågar vad de håller på med och varför vi inte blivit meddelade att ön är stängd. Får då till svar att deras datasystem krånglat så man kunnat boka utan att det finns lediga rum. Påpekar då att jag pratat personligen med en ur personelen vid bokning då jag har hund och ville kolla så det var okej.
  Så alla som hade bokat att bo på ön torsdag-söndag fick stå där med långa näsor och i panik försöka hitta andra hotell som hade lediga rum den natten. Detta är det vidrigaste sättet jag någonsin blivit behandlad på av ett hotell. Att bara för att någon kommer och viftar med pengar så pissar man totalt på folk som bokat innan och som planerat in att bo där. Sen att de inte ens kan höra av sig i god tid och berätta om stängningen av ön är vedervärdigt i mina ögon. Önskar att hotellet går i konkurs för pissar man sina kunder rätt i ansiktet så förtjänar man inte att driva en verksamhet som bygger på nöjda kunder!

  A must visits if you are driving the Atlantic Ocean road!
  
  My wife and I visited Håholmen Havstuer for dinner – unfortunately there was no room vacant this night.
  
  Håholmen is located on a small island next to the Atlantic Ocean Road. Some of the buildings is dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries (see my attached photos). The beautiful weather-beaten island with traditional fishermen’s shacks is faced directly onto the ocean.
  
  The service, the staff, the food, the wine - the whole feeling is great!
  
  Highly recommended!

  Very beautiful place and wonderful place to visit. The service was good and the boat trip was also very nice.
  The cabins were also very nice.
  
  The only negative must be that the reception was not present and we had to call on the staff to get served drinks or other services
