Gunnar is a very special guide. If you are in Tromso, he should be your choice! We just had the most stunning hike with wonderful views!

Went on two Northern Lights chases with Gunnar. If they're out there he will find them! He's the best :)

Gunnar is GREAT !
I chased the Northern Lights with Gunnar in early March 2015 and was very impresed by his dedication and skill. The weather was not cooperative for viewing the lights in Tromso, so Gunnar took our mini-bus west and south over 100 miles. We were rewarded with a SPECTACULAR light show that lasted for several hours. Gunnar brought us hot tea and snacks and made sure everyone was protected in NEW, snug, polar suits. He had a virtual boot store in the back of the bus. Several of us tried different sizes -- all were taken care of.
En-route, Gunnar showed us a film about the Aurora, plus several short clips of his cross-country, guided ski trips and fishing. He has a 95% success rate in finding the lights. Not only does he check the weather constantly,Gunnar has a network of guides up and down the coast that advise each other on weather patterns and clearing skies.
