Couple renting a two-person room

Very nice welcome by Clive who immediately made us feel welcome and gave us the tour of the place. He was very happy helping us find some nice walks on the neighbouring islands.

Rooms could be a bit bigger, but they are very tidy and the bathroom was very clean and spacious enough.
The common room is nice and has two comfortable couches. It should be noted that we were the only two guests, when the house is fully booked it might get crowded.
There is a fridge and some cutlery, but you can't cook your own meal since there is no kitchenette. We went out and bought ourselves a one-way BBQ and some potato salad and had a great dinner.
The patio outside has a nice view and is really a bonus when the weather's nice.

Breakfast was plenty and nice. Fresh toast, coffee and a boiled egg were all present and delicious.

Ålesund is a twenty minute drive. The island and the ones around it are great for a lovely seaside stroll and bird watching. The place is easy to find if you follow the directions you got via email.

The host is a neat person, keep everything clear and tidy. Breakfast is fine as well. Unfortunately the acoustic isolation is poor, l had a hard time to getting asleep because some guests came late at night and made noises from time to time.

Тихое место в деревушке недалёко от аэропорта, ничего особенного, номера маленькие, но чисто, белье хорошее, милые хозяева, пара англичан, завтрак английский, тосты, ветчина, сыр, йогурт.
Подойдёт для ночёвки перед вылетом

The woman who's running this place is a nutcase. Demands lights off and absolute silence on the room at 11 (and she may come and check after 11). She went totally up in flames when I by a mistake turned on the lamp outside and kept the door open to get some fresh air into the living room (it was a hot summerday and i sat just outside the door). The man of the house is a decent guy who is running around making excuses for her behavior and trying to solve problems she make due to lack of anger management and decent/normal behaviour.
