Such a comfortable hotel. Very very comfy bed and a fabulous smorgasbord breakfast. The restaurant next door serves a wholesome meal to go with excellent beer 🍻 from their microbrewery.

Very nice hotel with a nice view. Couldn't be closer the to water and it's only about 100 feet from the ferry to gudvangen. The free breakfast was good. The only real problem is the walls are kind of thin. We could hear our neighbors clearly talking in normal voices. Luckily it wasn't a big deal as are neighbors were very quiet but if you got loud neighbors it would be very annoying. Also for being a fairly expensive place we were very underwhelmed with the amount of ammeneties offered.

Comfortable, recent construction hotel right near the ferry terminal, train station, and a brewery. The businesses here cater to foreign tourists more than most places we've visited. Bonus: every room has gorgeous views of the cliffs towering over the fjord.

This hotel`s breakfast room or restaurant is open to everyone. This means you don`t have to stay in this hotel and still eat like a king. The breakfast is one of the largest buffet breakfast in all of Norway! If you like eating a brunch in the morning, taking several helpings for several hours, use the excellent toilet facilities of this hotel, you have an amazing combination right here. Breakfast was incredible.

Beautiful surroundings in the heart of Flåm. Interior has elaborate furniture all carved and polished from wood and draped with animal skins. First floor has open lounge layout with a central fireplace. Second floor has typical dining layout but with room for large groups. Food is a little pricy for Norway, relatively limited menu but the burgers are large and the potatoes are fresh. There is a wide selection of locally brewed beers for normal Norwegian prices. Beware a short wait and limited hours in the off-season (winter), as this is one of the only restaurants open in the area at that time.

The location of this hotel is amazing as it is overlooking the fjords. The room was good. No mini refrigerator though. The service was good and the breakfast was decent. They had eggs, bacon, hot dogs, some different fish, yogurt coffee, juices, bread, cooked peppers, potatoes.

Flåm is a small town with everything in a walking distance so it's convenient regardless of the location. But the view matters. Highly recommend.
