Staff superb, rooms amazing, food delicious, view beautiful. 12/10 stars
Nicely decorated hotel but not the best place to stop for a coffee (in autumn)
Ridicolous service, due to one factor. A hotel that don't offer postal services, is for me, not a sign of a service minded hotel management. The personnel however, was more than friendly, and exused the lack of service. So the critics goes to the owners and management. But I guess they don't face that problem when staying in their own hotels.
Norway prices but excellent quality and views
Expensive place to stay if you are wild hiker, but magnificent if you are staying overnight to enjoy views from the window, food and hot bath :-)
I stayed here as part of a private photography workshop. The rooms are nice with big heavy curtains (pheeww) but as a vegan, I struggled to eat anything. I know veganism is a new concept in Norway, but more understanding from chefs would be great. Wonderful views and great location though :)
Top quality hotel. Great food & service.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, food was great and close to a lovely nature
Really nice hotel. Great Staff and acommodation. Close to nature and the Hardanger Mountains.
5/5
Cant say too much about the sleeping part, but visited the restaurant and that was a big disappointment. A menu that was a horrible attempt on being a sports bar. No sports anywhere. The chef seems to be allergic to spices as the food is bland and flat. Not representing for a Quality Hotel in such wonderful scenery. Go to the Inn across the street to eat!
