Enchanting guest house for weary travellers to rest whilst exploring the beautiful Eidfjords. Don't expect an upmarket establishment, this place is rustic and practical, showers and toilets are shared, free internet is provided and you'll be welcomed by the lovely Steen and Zara who will go to great lengths to make you sure your rested (refused to take payment from us when we arrived, as if we're old friends, requested to pay in the morning after we've rested!) and nourished ready for your next adventure in the Fjords!

Highly recommended! The house where the reception and restaurant are is very beautiful and the little cabins are just lovely. The owners are also very kind and helpful.

Loved my stay here this past April. We stayed in the house.

Some people have reviewed that no one came to the door and that they left. If you read the paperwork on the desk you're welcomed to take a key and pay in the morning if no one answers. The trust factor was pretty amazing and the views are unforgettable.

Love the place, amazing landscape all around, sweet bungalows and lovely kitsch common areas. The prices are affordable and not that far from Eidfjord. You can even hike along the lake to get back to the town.

    Not pleasant at all.
Charged 1100 plus 300 for additional person. This was for the family room with private toilet.

Additional bed was a foam mattress and they just passed us the sheets. Mattress was super soft and I could feel the floor on it.

Lacking many facilities such as fridge. Boiler. TV. Glasses/cups.

There were some nice things like the spacious toilet
    And decorations of the place.

Dinner menu was limited and the portions are tiny. Expensive too. 190 kr for a small fish and 3 potatoes.

Breakfast was limited in options too. Bread and spreads with cheese and ham only.

Overall at this kind of price point. I feel that I have seriously been overcharged. Then again my expectations were high but probably justified by the high price
