Cozy little hotel in the centre of Trondheim. The crew was real nice too!
Perfect location, clean room, friendly staff the only negative is No parking available
Good location. Clean and at a reasonable price
This hotel has largest room than all hotels in Trondheim. The interior design at reception and dinning room is classic. Great hospitality and clean room. They make simple breakfast. If they improve on that am very sure it will be among the best hotels in Trondheim!
Access to Room was not good Reservation done privioisly but still a bad not so good room. Bathroom great! Smallville Room. Breakfast Ok. Recepition really good looking at employee .
Good breakfast after the night train
Friendly service and given a room on the top floor with great views. Close to the station within easy walking distance. Good breakfast too
Great location to our event. Closer to shops / restaurants. Rooms are lovely and a good size. Staff are lovely and helpful.
I don't know how to rate this hotel - here are the two biggest plus points
a) It's cheap
b) It's centrally located.
But,
a) The hotel is in major need of repairs. Some rooms the lights don't work, some rooms the water leaks, some rooms there is no hot water (I've stayed here many times, can you tell?)
b) The upholstery is just shoddy.
c) Cleaning service is non-existent, I think they spend 120 seconds making your bed and thats it.
d) The towels are torn and tattered, sometimes with ugly spots on them.
e) Rooms are noisy (road noise and neighbors)
f) Breakfast is very basic and most of it comes out of cans
g) ..
.. you get the idea. On the plus side, the staff downstairs do try their best, but not much they can do about road noise for instance. It's the building that is in disrepair.
So stay here to save money, and be centrally located. But if you are willing to spend 100NOK/night more, there are plenty of other choices in the vicinity.
