We stayed in a single room at the "motel". Im sorry to say but unfortunately a horrible stay. The beds were super uncomfortable, it was loud from the outside doors opening and people running around (paper thin walls?), it felt dirty, the toilets were discusting, broken lights in the hallway between the kitchen and the rooms.
Good thing was the free parking and wifi.

Very poor site. Only redeeming feature is the use of the free laundry facilities which unfortunately appear to be in constant use by the sites permanent residents. Hard ground so difficult to put up the awning. Toilets not cleaned regularly. Location on the edge of an industrial estate which is currently undergoing construction. We moved on after one night.

Ok for a night, but would not stay for longer. It's in a industrial estate and the camp spot for tents is literally in a roadside ditch. Toilets and showers are on the opposite side of v busy road. Would recommend getting a cabin instead of staying in a tent here. Cabins are ok.

Stayed here over a month. The cabin was clean and nice, the camping park was well kept and quiet. Staff was nice and helpful. Good location with huge shopping center close by and 24/7 convenience store 5 minutes walk away.

TL;DR cheap, ugly ground, nice huts, with an extremely approachable, ridiculously charming and over the top helpful guy in the reception

    Longer version:

Industry area, 30 minutes to kiwi and spar (cheap supermarkets) and 1 hour to Ã…sane (town) storesenter/Horison/IKEA (giant consumer temples).
5 minutes to an enchanting forest/mountain, 30-60 minutes to several mountain peaks.
    All on foot.
20 minutes bus ride to Bergen. Bus stop around the corner.

Pretty clean in my book, have been at vastly pricier camping grounds with better ratings and toilets that looked and smelled like the first world war. People here seem to take care of "their" stuff. The odd black sheep included.

Final words: the guy is amazing, one of the genuinely friendliest people I've ever met. The cabins and cottages are small but new and clean. The motel is old as dirt as are the showers. There are tent spots, though caravans and huts are the main beef of this place.
You got the E39 (I think it's called, big main street across half of Norway) like 500 meters away, if you got places to go, you will get there.
You do NOT hear the street.
You do NOT pay a lot of money.
    You DO live pretty central.
You DO reach gorgeous nature on foot within minutes.
You do NOT live INSIDE that nature, but at the border of an industrial hot spot.

I rented a cabin for 1 night past August and it's the worst cabin in Norway. High prices for poor services and tiny and uncomfortably space.Take advantage of its proximity to Bergen

Showers and Toilets leave to be desired. The camping space for tents is overcrowded. But at least the reception is very nice.

Nice facilities, decent place to stay. 20 minutes by car to bergen. The rooms were also very modern and nice. Washing machine for free. Downside is that there's not a nearby store, but other than that a good campingsite
