Great place for a quick meal or drinks before or after a movie. If you want to chill out, there's an upstairs with couches and a bar. Good prices on both food and drinks.

Best bohemian café and restaurant during the day. And cozy venue for gigs, vernisages and DJ sessions of local and international artists. Very multicultural and crowded with all kinds of people of all ages and backgrounds. One of my fab in Bergen, indeed! 😍

A wonderful place to drink, play, make new friends, eat some good sweet, enjoy wonderful views of the streets of Bergen and the Opera from the many windows, hear wonderful music etc

Varying quality of food and awful chairs that are way past their expiration date, but lovely atmosphere. My friend with a nut-allergy made it clear that there could be no nuts in her food, which they promised to take care of, only to find that the cake she had ordered had been sprinkled with almond dust. Not sure if it was the carelessness or the fact that the staff didn't think it was that big of a deal that bothered me the most. Indifference and carelessness are not good traits for people working in the restaurant business.

Café Opera is among the few cafés which has 'always' been here. Cozy enough, without being too romantic. Good food. Affordable.

Not the kindest people working there for day tourists like me who had questions, and the prices are a bit high. But the atmosphere was quite nice and it's in a beautiful location, next to the theatre. The BLT was on point!!

Nice location right by the theatre and close to the cinema. Lovely atmosphere. A good place for lunch or smaller dishes.
