Absolutely awful experience and customer service. We rented a car for a week for about $300 USD, we returned the car after driving cross country and the outside was a little muddy as expected. The man we left the car with said that was normal, and cleaning was included in the rental, and that I would NOT be charged for anything additional at the time of drop-off. a week later, I received a charge on my card for 2500 NOK, or about $300 USD. After attempting to call and contact AVIS for a week, we were told it was cleaning charge. We have had absolutely ZERO help and customer service continues to hang up when we do manage to get a hold of them. Incredibly unhelpful, rude, fraudulent company. Will never use again or recommend to anyone.

Alquilamos un coche por 170€ tres dÃas 12-14 Mayo de 13'00 a 13'00.dejamos el coche y devolvimos las llaves en la caja donde decÃa en el cartel porque no habÃa nadie en la sala. Pues la sorpresa ha sido al llegar a casa y tres dÃas después me llega el recibo de la cuenta de 256€. Estamos intentando llamar a ver q respuesta nos dan .

Styr unna! Bil bestilt og forhåndsbetalt, men NULL personer på jobb hos avis i åpningstiden - kontoret var mørkt og stengt! Avis kundetelefon var til absolutt null hjelp, etter 1 time måtte vi gi opp og leie fra Sixt i stedet. På toppen av det hele var avis frekke nok til å kreve gebyr av oss for uavhentet bil! Useriøst på nivå med direkte svindel.

Bad Service! Employees arrive 2 hours too late. Queue of waiting (angry) people. Fuel was half empty after picking up the car. No answering on phone calls. No printed bills or any documents available.
