Lovely hotel with a small old fashioned bar and really nice staff. We had the luxury of staying in the wellness suite, with a little trouble in the beginning, but the staff made sure the troubles would be gone after our diner. (And they were gone!) We spend our afternoon in Avifauna and it was the perfect timing. You can easily take your time and observe every bird and animal within an afternoon. Overall it was lovely to stay there.

Have stayed here a few times as is near an office. It's simple but comfortable enough for a short stay. The rooms are a good size and have been refurbished, but the corridors and communal areas could use updating too. Breakfast was OK too.

Low prices. Okay room, I found the room a bit smelly, but my girlfriend didn't notice a thing. Friendly personnel and you get lot of food for your money. The target audience seems to be elderly people. Location is right next to Avifauna so that's a huge plus. Especially if your room is next to the ostriches!

If you like (the smell of) birds
then this is your place 🦆
I do also like birds, but fried with ketchup.

I was there for a 2 day business workshop. The venue was, eh, smelly.
If you went outside to make a phone call - you couldn't hear because of the sounds of birds.

As a positive:
The hotel rooms are okay, nothing fancy but value for money is good.
The hotel bar is open till 0.30 on weekdays - not bad considering being in the middle of nowhere

Very good rooms with nice view (if you are on the Avifauna side).
Beds are a bit hard but good enough to sleep.
Restaurant is good but if it is crowded, the staff gets easily overwhelmed by the numbers.
Depending on the room, you get free entrance to Avifauna.

Nice and clean hotel. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast in a really cosy building.
Entrance to the parkwas also included in the price of the roomso it was a nice surprise to visit also the wonderful birds park.

It was in the right place at the right time.
The hotel is nice as is the restaurant. The room was noisy though mostly due to loud slamming doors
